Yes, Esthec Outdoor Decking is covered by a limited product warranty, offering long-term peace of mind. For residential use, the warranty period is 10 years; for commercial applications, it is 5 years.

We strongly recommend working with a certified installer for optimal results. However, if none are available in your region, Esthec Outdoor Decking can also be installed by any experienced terrace installer. For detailed instructions, please refer to our Installation Guide.

Unlike traditional wood or WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), Esthec was purposefully engineered to excel in every critical aspect - from appearance and performance to sustainability.

Like most materials exposed to prolonged sunlight, some natural fading is to be expected. However, Esthec’s colors are remarkably UV-stable and show minimal change over time. Each color is composed of three subtle tones, creating a rich, vibrant appearance. After installation, the planks will naturally acclimate to their outdoor surroundings. Within a few weeks, the final color tone will settle and reveal its true look.

Hard or sharp objects can cause scratches on Esthec Outdoor Decking. Light surface scratches typically fade or disappear after thorough cleaning.For deeper scratches, the surface can be sanded to restore its original appearance. Esthec Outdoor Decking is highly slip resistant — even for such a sleek-looking material. That’s one of the reasons it’s trusted in marine environments. It offers excellent grip, even when wet, making it ideal for areas around pools, water features, or spas. With an R11 slip resistance rating, Esthec provides reliable safety underfoot.
Its water-resistant properties help prevent algae and mold formation, and the planks remain dimensionally stable over time — with no warping or expanding.

All Esthec Outdoor Decking systems are engineered to have low thermal expansion. However, Robusto and Allegra differ slightly in their thermal expansion coefficients. For detailed specifications, please consult the fact sheet of the system that best matches your project needs. In addition, all Esthec systems are designed to resist warping, bending, and splintering — even under varying weather conditions.

Esthec Outdoor Decking generally absorbs less heat than WPC or timber, thanks to its hollow construction — which helps dissipate heat into the air underneath. For an even cooler surface on sunny days, consider one of our Cool Colors: Illuminate or Essence. These shades reflect more sunlight and absorb less thermal energy.

No, Esthec Outdoor Decking shows minimal thermal expansion. Unlike wood or WPC, which can shrink in colder conditions and create visible gaps between planks, Esthec remains dimensionally stable. Planks can be installed tightly together without spacing, even with temperature fluctuations.

No, unlike WPC or wooden terraces that can warp or crack over time — especially in extreme weather conditions — Esthec Outdoor Decking is engineered for long-term dimensional stability. It comes with a 20-year warranty against these specific issues.

The Esthec Allegra plank is 3 meters long, 160 mm wide, and 21 mm high.

The Esthec Robusto plank has a length of 3 meters and is available in three different widths: 72.5 mm, 100 mm, and 175 mm. Each plank has a height of 22 mm.

The Esthec Robusto plank is available in 8 colours: Emotion, Mood, Delicate, Aroma, Mystery, Fascinate, Essence, and Illuminate.

Because of the wide range of choices - with various plank widths and 8 colours - Esthec Robusto planks are produced to order in our factory in the Netherlands.
Typical delivery time is 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the size of the project and the time of year (peak seasons may result in longer lead times).
