Esthec Nautical Decking is an environmentally friendly decking application. The fundamental innovation of this application is our patented thermoset bio-based material, which is different from all other decking applications on the market. Those being thermoplastic materials, containing PVC, or wood, which is one of the most beautiful and most impressive material Mother Nature has ever created, but was never intended to service as a decking application. To put a stop on human driven deforestation, Esthec invented a nautical decking application, which meets the highest standards in the yachting industry, while simultaneously decreasing the impact on our environment.

Esthec is produced in the Netherlands, from here we supply all our customers worldwide and all of our suppliers are based in or adjacent to the Netherlands.
This is achieved by avoiding short-term trends and by using and developing high-quality materials with a long life expectancy.
Like most materials exposed to prolonged sunlight, some fading is inevitable; however, Esthec’s color remains remarkably stable with minimal change.
The basis of Esthec is a liquid material made of 25 ingredients including biobased resins, natural fibers, minerals and colour pigments; 25% of which are recycled materials. Esthec is a thermoset product, different from all the others on the market that are thermoplastic product (PVC-based).
Esthec’s weight is 7.6 kg/m2. Due to the light weight properties it is perfect for high performance yachts where weight can be crucial in reaching a certain speed value.
Highly wear resistant due to its viscous elastic properties. Esthec provides excellent slip resistance, even in wet conditions and at a slope. It’s R11 rated.
