Esthec Nautical Decking is an environmentally friendly decking application. The fundamental innovation of this application is our patented thermoset bio-based material, which is different from all other decking applications on the market. Those being thermoplastic materials, containing PVC, or wood, which is one of the most beautiful and most impressive material Mother Nature has ever created, but was never intended to service as a decking application. To put a stop on human driven deforestation, Esthec invented a nautical decking application, which meets the highest standards in the yachting industry, while simultaneously decreasing the impact on our environment.

In order to be able to develop and manufacture long-lasting products, Esthec pursues an intense development phase prior to production. The highest-grade materials are selected, and a battery of rigorous tests is applied to the materials to prove durability and longevity.

Esthec is a sophisticated decking application with a thickness of 6 mm, which weighs 7.8 kg per square meter. Its viscous-elastic properties enables a high wear resistance. The user experiences a splinter free deck which feels comfortable barefoot. Esthec Nautical Decking is resistant to most common oils and greases, is easy to clean and it does not absorb water. It therefore gives a superb protection to the structure of the yacht, tender or sloop.
